Last year, the Nanyang Polytechnic Chinese Orchestra (NYPCO) garnered a lot of attention for their performance of famous Hallyu songs in a K-pop medley performed at the Esplanade Concert Hall in Singapore for "YFEST 2010". They posted their performance onto YouTube and it garnered over 300,000 views.
This year, NYPCO plans to hold a K-pop concert on November 27th, titled "K-Attack!" The concert will once again be held at the Esplanade Concert Hall at 5PM. The performance includes songs from famous Korean artists, including TVXQ, SNSD, 2PM, T-ARA, IU, BEAST, JYJ, OST's and more. The concert is scheduled to last an 1 hour and 30 minutes without an intermission.
Tickets went on sale on October 21st via SISTIC. A SISTIC booking fee will be applied to each ticket purchase. Individual tickets are priced at $15 each but can also be bought in bulk; you can purchase two tickets for $24 or 4 tickets for $40. There is also a discounted price of $8 for students, senior citizens, and NSF's.
