Leader JN of the girl group New.F.O was revealed to be Ji Sun, a former member of Girls Day.
JN revealed the fact in a recent meeting with enews, and said, “I’m happy that Girls Day is making a name for itself, and I’m cheering for the group with all my heart, even though I’m far away.”
JN debuted with Girls Day in its mini album Girl’s Day Party #1, but she left the team just two months with another member, Ji In. At the time, the group’s agency stated about the change in member composition, “We accepted Ji Sun’s own will based on her personal circumstances, and Ji In wished to leave the team to receive official acting lessons.”
A rep from New.F.O’s agency, Global Arts, said, “JN decided to join the team because the music she wanted to do and the music New.F.O would be doing matched. Her contract with her previous agency was settled peacefully, and JN is enthusiastic toward her role as the leader of New.F.O.”
JN announced the group’s future plans, saying, “New.F.O plans to perform in strong performances onstage, but in ordinary situations will converse comfortably with fans like friends.”
New.F.O released its first digital single Bounce on November 25, and on the same day performed in its debut stage on KBS2’s Music Bank. Bounce is of the dup step genre, a trendy type of sound in Europe and underground American clubs.
The group made issues with a video of the group’s main vocalist Mima singing in Times Square of New York, and also with the fact that Danah is the little sister of Ta Goon from BoM.
