FT Island's upcoming Christmas concert in Japan is reported to have sold out, as confirmed by their agency FNC music today. In a press release sent by the agency, it was revealed that 25,000 tickets for FT Island's two day concert titled "FT ISLAND X'mas Live 2011 ~Winter's Night" were already sold out.Last October, FT Island announced that they will be holding aChristmas concert at the Yokohama Arena on December 23 and 24. Tickets were immediately available as of October 11th.
Meanwhile, it was also reported that FT Island sixth Japanese single "Distance" moved 40,000 copies and took the fourth spot on Oricon's weekly chart. The single went on sale on November 30.
In response to the success of their single release and upcoming concert, FT Island was quoted saying, "We are extremely happy to see our album do so well and we hope to give a great Christmas show for our fans."
