Girls' Generation's Sunny confirmed for musical "Catch Me If You Can" + teaser video

Sunny will soon be making her debut as a musical actress, following the footsteps of fellow Girls' Generation members Taeyeon, Jessica and Tiffany. Girls' Generation Sunny's participation was recently confirmed through M Musical and the official website of "Catch Me if You Can" musical. With the word out, fans began to tweet their excitement and therefore trended "Catch Me If You Can" on Twitter worldwide.

She will join fellow SM Entertainment artists CSJH The Grace's Dana, SHINee's Key and Super Junior's Kyuhyun, who will also take part in the musical.

Both Sunny and Dana, along with Choi Woori, will share the part of Brenda, the love interest of the main male character Frank Abagnale Jr. Key and Kyuhyun will be playing the part of Frank Abagnale Jr.

The musical is based on the 2002 film based on Frank Abagnale Jr., a con artist who forged checks worth millions of dollars to himself as he posed as an airplane pilot, lawyer, doctor, etc. At the same time, he manages to stay ahead of his pursuer, FBI agent Carl Hanratty. Frank falls in love with Brenda, but can't bring himself to tell her the truth.

"Catch Me If You Can" will begin playing on March 28th through June 10th at the Bluesquare Samsung Card Hall.
