Girls' Generation's Taeyeon to make a cameo appearance on “Salamander Guru and the Gang”

It has been confirmed that Girls' Generation's main vocalist Taeyeon will be making a cameo appearance on SBS’s new sitcom drama, “Salamander Guru and the Gang”, which will start airing on January 25th at 11:05 PM.

Taeyeon will be starring alongside SHINee’s Minho, who will play the lead role in the new SBS sitcom. SBS officials announced that there will be cameo appearances on every episode, and that Taeyeon, who will appear in 3 or 4 episodes, had already finished recording yesterday.

Besides Taeyeon’s involvement in the sitcom, some other Girls' Generation members will either make a cameo appearance, have a minor role, or play the lead character in a drama. Yoona will be playing the lead role alongside Jang Geunseuk in “Love Rain”, which will start airing in Spring 2012 while Jessica will play a minor character in “Wild Romance”, Yuri will star in “Fashion King”, and Sooyoung will be playing the lead role in “Speed”.

Fans are already having high expectations for her small role in “Salamander Guru and the Gang”, since it will be her first acting experience since her participation in the “Midnight Sun” musical back in 2009.
