4rest releases debut digital single "Men Are From Mars And Women Are From Venus"

Mixed vocalist groups 4rest has released their debut digital single "Men Are From Mars and Women Are From Venus" on February 23rd and has amazed the music industry with their unique sound.


4rest (pronounced like "Forest") is made up of members Park Youngmi, Kim Jinseok, Kang Sungmin, and Ahn Sungmi. 

Their title track "Men Are From Mars and Women Are From Venus" was written by Jeon Seungwoo, who is responsible for Big Bang's track "A Fool of Tears" found on their debut single and Lyn's track "My Man." 

The song holds a sophisticated melody mixed with the sound of funk, while simple yet repetitive chords are played to give a more easing feel. 

4rest member Park Youngmi debuted in 1989 MBC "Riverside Song Festival. Kim Jinseok debuted under YG Entertainment in 1995 as a duo group called XO. Ahn Sungmi became part of a girl group in 2008 called Party Cats, performing at the MBC "University Music Festival," where she won first prize.
