[ Exclusive ] JYJ's Yoochun caught in controversy as video of fan being slapped resurfaces

On February 15th, a video containing controversial images was uploaded onto YouTube as well as various fancafes. The video shows two members of JYJ, Jaejoong and Yoochun, back when they were with TVXQ walking through a crowd of fans. The video was taken during their "Mirotic" promotions back in 2009 and reportedly re-uploaded by their "stalker" fans, also called, "sasaeng fans".

While walking through the crowd, Yoochun is leading while Jaejoong is following behind at a distance. While the focus of the fancam is on Jaejoong, when he turned left to go up the stairs, the camera also catches Yoochun. Reportedly, Yoochun is standing on the stairs by a doorway and is seen "slapping" a fan with his left hand while pushing her head down with his right hand as he grabs her hair.

Many netizens are skeptical that it was Yoochun who hit the girl. One theory insists that it was a guard for the members who hit the fan who was in the way, and that Jaejoong moved in to cover up the incident. The original uploader of the video insists that it was a staff member of the group that was standing there the entire time.

However, on the other end of the spectrum, netizens have also found a second video which shows Yoochun and Jaejoong together. Yoochun and Jaejoong get out of a car at a supposed "tattoo parlor." Yoochun gets out first, wearing a black shirt with a big black bag. Jaejoong follows wearing the same striped shirt he is seen wearing in the video that includes the "slap." Yoochun is seen in the "slapping" video in the same outfit as well, leading some netizens to believe that Yoochun was the person who "slapped" the woman.

With the videos resurfacing on the internet, netizens are Tweeting and commenting rapidly, attempting to either prove that it was Yoochun who slapped the woman or prove that it wasn't Yoochun. The video was uploaded onto YouTube and within a few hours, reached over 26,000 views. 

In the past, both Jaejoong and Yoochun have complained and even pleaded with sasaeng fans to stop harassing them. A "sasaeng fan" is someone who stalks celebrities, often breaking into their homes and knowing their personal phone numbers. 

Jaejoong has tweeted in the past about how he has suffered for well over 7 years, when meeting with friends and family due to sasaeng fans delaying him. He went on to state that all 5 members of DBSK have cried in public while sasaeng fans simply stood idle and smiled at them. Yoochun has tweeted things such as, "Please don’t follow us or come to our houses!" in an attempt to have them stop.
