MBC airs the Chinese version of "We Got Married" this week due to continuing strike

"We Got Married," one of the hit TV variety shows in Korea has been cancelled for three weeks in a row because of MBC's union strike. The strike is still currently ongoing but MBC will be airing a new episode of the Chinese version of "We Got Married" this week. This is great news for all the fans and supporters who have been anticipating this episode. 


The Chinese version of the show "We Got Married" first aired back on February 14th. This was in celebration of the diplomatic relations that has continued between China and Korea which have lasted for 20 years and was celebrated by both countries. MBC and SMG (Shanghai Media Group) were both involved with the production of the show. The couples who star in the Chinese version are Super Junior's Kyuhyun with Chinese actress Lou Yi Xiao. T-ara's Hyomin and Fu Xinbo a well-known Chinese artist are currently on the show as well. 

The panel members Park Misun, Kim Jungmin, Kim Nayoung, Go Youngwook, and Park Hwisoon, were impressed and stunned with Fu Xinbo's handsome and cool looks. Xinbo even showed incredible dance skills. The panel also saw that Kyuhyun is a romantic gentleman. 

Kyuhyun later stated that this experience was new and meaningful. He thought it was a great experience to have been able to get married in Shanghai. Hyomin also gave her reflection on her time in Shanghai. She was surprised that her and Fu Xinbo were able to become great friends. She was also astounded that they got to know each other even with a language barrier.
