Rain takes his first break since joining the military

Korean performer and actor Rain is reported to have taken his first vacation since enlisting to the national military service. On October 11th of last year, Rain officially started his mandatory military training as an active duty soldier and was eventually able to become a member of the Special Forces due to his excellent health and fitness.


It was further reported that Rain was off from the base from February 9th until the 16th. The holiday was longer then the regular five days off most soldiers get due to the added "100 Days in the Army" holiday. 

Rain kept a very low profile while on leave, never even leaving his home the whole time on break. He simply spent time with his friends and family and indulged in all the food he could not have in the military. A representative was then quoted saying, "He did what every serviceman does on their first break, just enjoying home-cooked meals and resting."

Rain will be discharged from the military on July 10th, 2013.
