2PM's Nichkhun nominated for an award at the Kerd Awards in Thailand

It has been revealed that 2PM's Nichkhun has been nominated to win an award at the Kerd Awards held in Thailand.

The Kerd Awards is an award show that is hosted by Woody, a famous entertainer in Thailand who has his own show named after himself. The awards show awards entertainers who are the best recognized and most influential in 7 different fields including: Born to grasp the main scene, Born to be be famous, Born to be a comedian, Born to be pop singer, Born to be a giver, Born to be together, and Born to be hot.

The biggest award of the show is the Kerd of the Year award, which is given to people who have had the most influential activities that year. The winner is selected through votes from mobile phones and SMS located in Thailand.

Other than being a member of 2PM, Nichkhun has extended his activities in Thailand as both an actor and model for various products and advertisements. Nichkhun left for the awards show on the 29th after receiving word that he was nominated for the Kerd of the Year award. 

Nichkhun was quoted saying, "It's such a great honor for me to have been invited to this award ceremony. I'm both thankful and very nervous of having been nominated for such a grand prize. Having been nominated is glorious enough for me and I am thankful. Thank you to all the fans who have always supported me."
