Recently coming back in the local music scene in South Korea, Big Bang is also set to make their comeback in Japan while maintaining their current schedule. YG Entertainment confirmed the news today after stating that Big Bang will be making their comeback on the 28th and will promote in Japan and South Korea at the same time.
According to the representative, they are set to continue to carry out such schedules in Japan, South Korea and other countries all at the same time. The group is set to release a Japanese album which consist of nine tracks, seven from the album "Alive" and two new ones. G-Dragon is revealed to be the person who took charge of the lyrics and melodies of all tracks.
Meanwhile, G-Dragon also expressed his thoughts on their simultaneous activities by saying, "We are back to producing good music and are focused on improving our stage performance. Big Bang members are expected to develop their own colors. Last year, there were several things that happened, and now we can realize the importance of fans, the stage and music. We are grateful, and sorry to the fans. Now, we will try to not make them worry and hope that they will be able to find us through our albums and concerts."
Following the release of their album, Big Bang will also start their concert tour in Japan on May 17th and will visit at least five cities. A total of 130,000 fans are expected to attend the events. Big Bang, along with fellow labelmates 2NE1, will also visit Japan on the 31st and participate on the "Spring Groove HipHop Festival."
