The youngest member of girl group Girls' Day, Hyeri, will take on her first acting challenge. Girls' Day's agency said, "On the 21st next month, Hyeri will star in the SBS 'Father and Daughter' as the youngest daughter, Jang Mihyun."
"Father and Daughter" is a weekend drama that will star Yoon Jeonghee, Park Yoonjae, Yoo Dain, and Im Chaemoo. It tells the story of the daughter of a former detective turned chef gets involved with the ill-fated people who he met during his police days.
The drama's official listed his reasons for choosing Hyeri for the role due to her "cute and appealing looks" as well as "her positive nature."
Are you looking forward to Hyeri's first drama role? The drama is set to air on SBS on April 21st.
