Gummy awarded "K-Pop New Artist" at 2011 Billboard Music Awards in Japan

Gummy was awarded "K-Pop New Artist" at the 2011 Billboard Music Awards in Japan over the weekend. YG Entertainment confirmed the news today that Gummy flew to Japan and was handed the award for "K-Pop New Artist" at this year's ceremony which took place in Tokyo last Saturday. 

During the event, Gummy also performed her Japanese debut single "I'm Sorry," which was included in her mini-album "Loveless." Gummy's debut single was released in Japan in November of last year. 

After a short promotional stint in Japan for her debut release, Gummy also joined the rest of YG Entertainment as they celebrated their 15th Anniversary with concerts. The last few stops of the tour was held in Osaka and Saitama on January 22nd and 23rd.
