Mnet Japan is set to cooperate with the Korean music show M! Countdown for a festival tour in Japan this coming April. Mnet Japan will be joining forces with Space Shower TV and is highly anticipated by various countries. It will most likely be broadcast through Mnet, Space Shower TV, Mnet Japan, tvN Asia and maybe even others.
The tour first came into existence in 2006, and will now have its third tour and comeback after five years. The first concert was held in Tokyo in 2006 with Lee Hyori, TVXQ, Shinhwa and others to commemorate the launch of Mnet Japan. A second concert was held in 2007, and toured Tokyo with Big Bang, Shin Seunghoon and various other artists.
A representative from Mnet also mentioned, “Please look forward to our secondary lineup, which will feature more artists who are popular in both Japan and Korea.”
Though currently the line-up only consists of Supernova, MBLAQ and FT Island, another 12 artists/groups are set to be added to the full list.
M! Countdown's "Hello Japan" will take place on April 25th at the Saitama Super Arena. The show starts at 5PM Japanese Standard Time. More details on the line-up and the show are set to be released later this month.
