X-CROSS's Sung Hyoram undergoes surgery for fractured collarbone, presses on with performances

X-CROSS leader Sung Hyoram has undergone surgery for his fractured collarbone.

X-CROSS's promotional activities came to an abrupt halt a week after their song "Heartbeat" was released when leader Sung Hyoram unexpectedly fractured his collarbone, necessitating surgery.

Sung Hyoram said, "I got injured when I was exercising. The diagnosis came back with a fracture and so I had to go for a surgery to put in five metal pins." He expressed pity that their rigorous choreography had to be modified following his surgery. He does however plan to take painkillers and perform for a live broadcast.

GF Entertainment, X-CROSS's agency, explained, "Though we canceled all his schedules and halted his activities after we received his diagnosis, he has a very strong will as a singer, and we decided to respect his wishes. He was more pained by the fact that he could not perform the song and choreography that he had practiced for so many months, so when he made that earnest request to us, we could not turn him down."

Meanwhile, X-CROSS is currently promoting their song "Heartbeat."
