Pledis Entertainment has announced that After School will be adding a new member, Gaeun, to their lineup!
Gaeun is seventeen years old and is highly proficient in Japanese due to her experience studying abroad. As a Pledis trainee, Gaeun has honed her vocal talents and is reported to be the most powerful vocalist among the trainees. Pledis states, "We hope that you will warmly welcome our newest member Gaeun who will be attempting her newest challenge as a new member of After School, and we hope that you will look forward to a new and transformed After School."
In line with the "admittance" and "graduation" systems implemented by Pledis, Gaeun will be the fifth "freshman" to join the group. After months of promotions in Japan, including their "Premium Party Bang! Bang! Bang!" performances and a Japanese tour beginning on April 27th, After School is set to return in June with a new album and promotional activities.
