Indie rock band Yellow City has released their debut EP, titled "Blossom." Based in Seoul, the band consists of members Jang Hyeonjun, Ji Mingi, Kim Hyeonji, and Yamato Shimizu. Since late 2011, Yellow City has been revealing behind the scenes videos and photos to prepare for their first release. Citing bands like Oasis, Coldplay, The Beatles, U2, and Sigur Ros as their primary influences, the boys of Yellow City are aiming to create music in the style of British alternative rock.Yellow City's EP, "Blossom," contains three songs, "Silver," "Blossom," and "You're Back." In addition, the band has included the instrumentals for their title tracks "Silver" and "Blossom" on the release. The band's powerful vocals, chiming guitar riffs, and energetic drumming are evidence of their Western influences and appear throughout their small selection of songs. With their indie flair and catchy melodies, Yellow City looks to make their breakthrough into the music industry.
