Recently in talks to be hosting a new music show on SBS, Lee Hyori has confirmed her participation, along with Jung Jaehyung. Earlier today, an official from SBS confirmed that Lee Hyori and Jung Jaehyung will host the show titled, "Lee Hyori and Jung Jaehyung's You and I."

This will not be the first time that the two will pair up for a show, as the two are close friends and have previously appeared on MBC's annual college singing contest. The show is set to premiere at midnight on February 26th.

The program will also mark the return of Lee Hyori, as this will be her first official project since the release of her last album in 2010. Many are also anticipating her participation together with her close friend Jung Jaehyung.

Lee Hyori has been actively showing her support for the new 5 member girl group and labelmate SPICA.

With SPICA’s official debut coming up on the 10th of January with the song "Potently," fellow B2M Entertainment artist, Lee Hyori, who was a former member of the girl group Fin.K.L as well, has been actively showing her support and encouragement for SPICA, and will also be starring in the music video for "Potently."

On the 4th of January, B2M Entertainment said that Lee Hyori’s involvement in SPICA’s music video has created more anticipation for SPICA, and she had also been present at their profile photoshoot to provide advice, and even suggestions for their jacket shoot and concepts. Furthermore, Lee Hyori quickly accepted the request when asked to feature in SPICA’s music video 

"Potently" is being directed by the famous Kim Chol, and will showcase Lee Hyori’s unique beauty and sexiness. The music video will be released on the 10th of January at midnight.

Lee Min Jung revealed in a roundabout way that the role model for her character is Lee Hyori at the press conference for the film Wonderful Radio, held on December 6 in Seoul.


Lee first said, “I thought because of the setting of the film, it would be good to have a girl group as a role model,” and added, “The director advised that I should think of S.E.S or Fin.K.L.”

Cultwo, the MCs of the conference, then asked Lee which girl group member she thought of the most, and she answered, “I like Hyori the most.”

Her vague answer probably came from the fact that her role in Wonderful Radio is a woman who used to be a beloved idol group member but is now just a washed-up ordinary singer, which we know Lee Hyori isn’t. The film revolves around how the woman, named Shin Jin Ah, starts to host a radio program which is about to be taken off-air and fights to raise its listener ratings.

Wonderful Radio will premiere in January 2012.

A court ruled that Lee Hyori will have to compensate for some part of the modeling fees and ad production of an online shopping website she modeled for during her controversial fourth studio album.

On December 6, the Supreme Prosecutors’ Office ruled in a damage suit filed by an online shopping website against Lee Hyori and her agency, and ruled that the singer needs to cough up a pretty pennya total of 190 million won to be exact.



The website signed a contract with model Lee Hyori on August 2009 and paid her 700 million won in modeling fees, but the advertisement was never used at the time as Lee Hyori’s fourth album was caught up in a large plagiarism controversy. As such, online shopping website demanded that Lee compensate for the lost costs.

The website originally filed for 490 million won in compensation for modeling and production fees against Lee Hyori.

A photo of singer Lee Hyori with a ring on her finger was revealed recently, sparking talk of her possibly being in a relationship.

The photo was uploaded by the singer herself on November 19th, and shows her pet dog Sunshimie taking a nap with her. She is in a pajama suit and is lolling on the couch, giving off an extremely comfortable and laid-back vibe. In particular the ring on her finger had caught netizens' attention.

Netizens commented, "Is she dating someone?" as well as "I'm curious as to what kind of ring it is," and "Is she suddenly revealing her marriage too?"

Meanwhile, Lee Hyori attended close friend's Park Shiyeon's wedding ceremony on the same day.
