The Boss successfully makes their comeback with "Lady" due to herbal medicine

Just last week, boy group The Boss made their return to the Korean music scene after having been in Japan for the past year. "Lady," a ballad track that shows the matured vocals of the five member group, allowed them rank first in various different portal website search lists after their first performance.

The Boss took the stage to perform their newest single track"Lady" on Inkigayo last week, however, the group was met with a cold. They were revealed to have been able to have a successful stage due to herbal medicine.

Leader Mika commented on the situation by saying that it was their own fault for not taking care of their bodies. He also remarked, "We even had injections in the hospital the day before Inkigayo because we felt nervous, but we felt frustrated as our condition got worse the day of Inkigayo. But it's our fault that we didn't take care of our body and we just told one another 'Let's just show them what we practiced while having trust with one another until now' and that got rid of our nervousness and we suddenly had strength."

The reason the group went for a ballad release was to be able to show the Korean fans and music lovers the growth in their voices, next to their eagerness to try different genres. The group was noted to have had hard vocal training even though their condition wasn't that great. 

Hyunmin, who is getting more and more known through his husky voice also added that he almost made a mistake during the live recording. "Because of the poor vocal condition, I almost had mistakes during the last high pitch, but when I saw the placards cheering for us, I thought I needed to do my best even though I hadn't been able use my voice for the whole day, and then a miracle happened."

The group has been receiving praise for their astounding live performances.

The Boss will be promoting "Lady" for a month only, after which they will return to Japan for the release of their 4th single "Love Days."
