Jay Park will be releasing new single "Girlfriend" on November 3rd

Jay Park is releasing a new song after seven months. His new single "Girlfriend" will be available through various music sites at midnight on November 3rd.

"Girlfriend" is an self-penned and self-composed R&B song that revolves around a man who promises to love only one woman. Its sweet melody and lyrics has gained considerable attention for being completely opposite from his previous album's title track "Abandoned."

A photo and music video teaser for "Girlfriend" was revealed earlier today, increasing the anticipation for November 3rd.

Meanwhile, Jay Park will be taking to the stage on November 3rd at CJ E&M Entertainment's "2011 Style Icon Awards" where he will perform a reinterpretation of Kim Seongjae, Yoo Seungjun and CLON's song. "Girlfriend"'s inaugural performance will also take place at that same awards show.
