Lee Sookyung to star in "Color of Woman"

Lee Sookyung has been cast in a new TV series starring Jaehee. This was released by a promoter 3HW.com on Friday. They announced that Sookyung would be starring in a drama called "Color of Woman," which will air on Channel A, a new programming channel by DongA, in December. 

In this drama, Sookyung will be playing a woman named Wang Jinjoo, who thinks her looks are her best asset, leads her to dream of seducing her ideal man. 

Logos Film said that they had picked Sookyung for this role since she because her upbeat personality fit the role of Jinjoo. She will also be one of the two women in the series. The other woman will be Byun Sora, who is her main rival in the cosmetics firm. The role of Byun Sora, a hard-working woman born into an average family with average looks, will be played by Yoon Soy.

Jaehee will be playing the heir to a successful cosmetics firm, set to replace his father and is pressured to keep the business alive.

Kim Sooyoung, the creator, is also the producer of MBC's "Goong" and the writer of "Miss Gold Digger", "Jealousy", "The Host 2", and "Lovers of 6 Years.

Sookyung debuted in 2001 and has appeared in numerous dramas. Her last appearance was on SBS TV series "The Warrior, Baek Dongsoo" which finished just last month.
