With only a four-week promotion for their latest single titled "Lady", the members of The Boss left to Japan again to prepare for their upcoming single release. Before ending their Korean promotions, the group had one last interview. Being "the last interview in Korea", the group mentioned, "It was unfortunate that we didn’t do more activities in Korea".
After staying in the country for over a year with short breaks to return home, The Boss released their 2nd Korean single "Lady", at the end of October. Because of their scheduled Japanese release, The Boss had to make their way to the foreign country once again, cutting their Korean promotions short.
The boys remember their first days in the foreign country very well, not speaking the language and having to depend on the other members to be able to "survive" and avoid feeling lonely.
Mika said "I didn’t have time to talk with the members when in our debut times because I was too busy practicing as our debut approached. Then, we went to Japan and out of nowhere, we turned out to be five people who never got into a fight with each other before. But as a leader, I have to have self-esteem, I cannot depend on my younger members." Member Hyunmin came to aid and addressed the leader's weak side and difficult times. "At that time of our Japanese debut, whether the position of leader or maknae, all were needless and both had the same difficulties. One day, our manager called us and tried to listen to our hearts one by one, and during that time, all the feelings in our hearts were removed."
The members mentioned that they're "just like magnets with different poles", sharing many accessories, trends, hairstyles and other things with all members. "It’s like we do the same style in the whole group" Hyunmin said with his eyes focused on the members next to him.
The group's Japanese activities have thought the boys how to enjoy the stage to the fullest, and by coming back with "Lady" in Korea, they had a whole new experience open up for them. Injun remarked that it was difficult to come on stage "My feet were frozen to the ground at first." "All of us show different types of 5 voices," Hyunmin added, "Rather than a quintet piano orchestra, we can do this as well."
Together with their last Korean interview before they'd leave to Japan again, The Boss promised to make a comeback in Korea soon, and said to anticipate their return to the Korean stage with a more grown up image next April. "We learned a lot when we were in Japan, even more than our goal." Leader Mika added, "Though there are more viewers, more performances, and the fans shout more loudly this time around, we will make sure to give it all back. Rather than an end, we will grow up, and this will be our effort."
The group is set to release their 4th Japanese single "Love Days" in early December, and will most likely go on to release a Japanese full length album before their return to Korea around April 2012. News about an album or their Japanese schedule after the release of their newest single has not been revealed yet.
