Superstar K3 Shin Jongkook joins Co-ed as its newest member + Kangho confirmed leaving the group

Core Contents Media's mixed group, Co-ed, has gained a new member as of November 4th. Superstar K3 contestant Shin Jongkook has been confirmed to have signed a contract with the agency that holds T-ara, Davichi, and Co-ed/5Dolls. 

A representative from Core Contents Media said, "Our president Kim Kwangsoo had a meeting with Shin Jongkook after seeing a picture of him. He has a good voice tone and we have signed a contract with him. Shin Jongkook, after receiving training to perfect his singing, dancing, etc. that is needed for a singer, will be able to greet the public with good sides of himself."

The group Co-ed has already a total of 11 members, with Shin Jongkook being the 12th member. According to the Core Contents Media, the addition to Shin Jongkook will increase Co-ed's potential as a group. There are plans for Shin Jongkook to emerge as a singer along with the male unit of Co-ed, who are expected to debut next year in March. 

So far, only the female sub-unit of Co-ed, 5dolls, has made their debut and even their comeback this year. The male unit will consist of 6 male members and according to Core Contents Media, they are preparing for their debut together. In addition, the agency has confirmed that Kangho has left Co-ed to concentrate on his acting career.
