Celebrating their one year anniversary since making their official debut in Japan, 2PM will be holding a fan event next week, as confirmed by JYP Entertainment. A representative from the agency confirmed today that the group will meet a number of fans for a high five event.
The representative explained, "2PM will meet with a number of fans for a high five event at the International Exhibition Hall in Makuhari Messe, Tokyo." The event will be on December 8 as they commemorate the date when they made their official debut.
Last year, 2PM released their first DVD, "Hottest~2PM 1st Music Video Collection & The History~," which contained all of their music videos to date, official pictorials and other footage. It was revealed to have placed on Japan's Oricon rankings. The group held their official showcase "2PM 1ST CONTACT IN JAPAN" on December 8 last year.
Since then, 2PM has revealed a number of releases, including "Take Off", "I'm Your Man" and "Ultra Lover". More recently, 2PM topped Oricon's daily chart with their first full length Japanese album, "Republic of 2PM".
2PM is set to kick off their first arena tour in Japan, starting in Osaka on December 5. It will then be followed by shows in Nippon, Tokyo and Fukuoka.
