An SM Entertainment representative has revealed on the 27th that Girls’ Generation’s Kwon Yuri will be resigning from her MC position on MBC’s “Show! Music Core”.Alongside fellow member Tiffany, both members had been hosting the music show from April 2009 until July 2010, but had to temporarily leave their position due to the group’s Japanese promotions. However, they took over their MC positions once again on October 15th of last year. Yuri, whose last show has been revealed to be on the 28th, will be taking the opportunity to focus on other activities such as acting. Tiffany, on the other hand, will be maintaining her MC position and will continue to host Music Core.
Meanwhile, fans are excited to see Yuri’s appearance in “Fashion King”, SBS’s upcoming drama, which will revolve around the lives of both rookie and world-class fashion designers.
