Lee Seunggi to debut in Japan in March 2012

The "nation's little brother" Lee Seunggi will debut in Japan next year through the release of a new album. He said at his solo concert, which was held at Seoul's Olympic Park Gymnastics Stadium on December 10th and 11th, "I'll probably be choosing two or three songs from my fifth album to promote in Japan."

His statement was also picked up by the Japanese press, and received great interest from the public. On December 12th, Japan's Sankei Sports and other media publications ran reports on Lee Seunggi, introducing him as a talented singer-actor and announcing that he has "signed a contract with a Japanese agency and will debut as a singer."

Lee Seunggi is currently signed with Fukuyama Masaharu (actor-singer) and Kuwata Keisuke's (singer-songwriter) agency. He plans to focus on singing, while also participating in variety shows and taking on acting roles.

He has expressed his determination through interviews with various media outlets. He said, "I want to appear on popular variety and music programs. I also want to perform live at Mudokwan, and appear on shows that are broadcasted simultaneously in Japan and Korea."

Meanwhile, Lee Seunggi is in the midst of promoting his fifth album's title song "Friends."
