Musical "200 Pound Beauty" starring KARA’s Park Gyuri attracts large numbers of male audience members

KARA member Park Gyuri's appearance in a musical has led to an unusually high number of male attendees in the audience. 

The musical "200 Pound Beauty" started its run on December 6th in Seoul’s Chungmu Art Hall, and the production side said that Park Gyuri’s participation in the shows has led to an increase in the number of male viewers. For "200 Pound Beauty," the percentage of male audiences is approximately 50%, which is significantly higher than other musicals which usually have 25%-40% male viewership. 

Staff members also explained, "For Park Gyuri's performances, the number of men in their teens and twenties are especially high. Aside from KARA fans, there are also many other men who wish to see Park Gyuri perform."
