Set to be replacing Hyomin as the new leader in their upcoming promotions, T-ara's Soyeon unveils her first task as the new leader. Earlier today, new photos featuring Soyeon and Hyomin in the editing room has been revealed, proving the gradual transition of the leaders in the group.
The photo uploaded online featured the two members in the music video editing room, showing a glimpse of their new music video "Lovey Dovey." Hyomin reportedly taught Soyeon the basics on being a leader, as they aimed their focus in participating in the editing of their new music video.
Soyeon, who will be the leader for their "Lovey Dovey" promotions will participate in leader activities such as selection and compositions of music, costume concepts planning, meetings and schedule arrangements. Last December 8, the two attended the music video editing together with director Cha Euntaek.
Hyomin further expressed her thoughts on being the leader during their "Roly Poly" promotions, stating how it was hard to be in charge of their Japanese activities, further revealing how good the experience was. She also revealed her confidence on Soyeon, revealing how she is responsible in nature and will do a good job as a leader.
Talking about their new music video, Soyeon revealed how the full length video will be 21 minutes 17 seconds, but will try to edit so it doesn't feel that long at all. She also expressed that she will make sure that the music video will move the viewers to tears and hoped that everyone can easily sing and dance along to the tune.
Last December 7, Core Contents Media announced the new swap with the members as they appointed Soyeon to be the new leader for their next promotions, replacing Hyomin as the leader. The agency previously expressed that T-ara will have different leaders every 6 to 8 months, whenever they release a new album as this helps determine the group's new vibe, concept and styles.
