Big Bang releases 5th mini album, "ALIVE"

In the beginning of February, YG Entertainment began teasing fans about Big Bang's comeback. After releasing numerous teasers, one member at a time, Big Bang revealed that they would be promoting six title songs from their seven track mini album. Their fifth mini album, "Alive," contains an intro track and six full length track. The songs on the album were written and composed by G-Dragon and Teddy, with additional rap parts written by T.O.P. The seventh track on the album is a solo track by Daesung who has not made his official solo debut yet.


On February 22nd, Big Bang revealed the first title track off of their "Alive" mini album, "Blue." Big Bang released the music video for "Blue" that they filmed in New York on the 22nd of February as well. "Blue" took over the Korean music charts instantly and the music video on YouTube achieved over 9.3 million views in 6 days, even achieving a Gold Medal on YouTube.

Big Bang will be going on their first Worldwide tour with "Alive" called "BIGBANG ALIVE TOUR 2012." Big Bang will be traveling to countries in Asia, North America, South America, and even Europe. Big Bang's mini album, "Alive," is available for purchase in six different versions through the YG-eShop and online at yg-music.net. The mini album is also available on Korean music sites like MelOn or Soribada as well as iTunes worldwide.
