Girls' Generation Seohyun's best friend, Lee Hwanhee, to make her debut in March

Known as being the friend of Girls' Generation Seohyun, Lee Hwanhee is getting ready to make her debut into the music industry soon. Prior to her official debut, a practice dance video of Lee Hwanhee has been released online. 


She is seen wearing black tights, which shows off her body's S-line and her glamorous figure, which has caught the attention of netizens. The video began to gain a surge of hits after it was revealed that she was Seohyun's friend.

Lee Hwanhee passed SM Entertainment's auditions and became a trainee after entering winning a 2002 competition. She then entered one of the lineups of Girls' Generation in 2005 along with Seohyun (the group went through about 3 revisions before the final lineup), as well as Jessica, Seo Hyunjin (formerly of M.I.L.K), Park Soyeon (now in T-ara), Hyoyeon, Yuri, Sooyoung, Stella Kim, Yoona, and Jang Hajin.

It is known that Lee Hwanhee trained alongside Seohyun and Yuri to become Girls' Generation members. However, she was eliminated from the roster soon afterwards alongside Seo Hyunjin and was replaced by Kim Taeyeon and Tiffany. Lee Hwanhee then re-entered the lineup in its third revision, however, did not make the final cut to the 9 members we know today.

Lee Hwanhee said, "I'm currently getting ready to make my debut. I've been an SM Entertainment trainee preparing to debut for a long time now, I still can't believe that it's finally coming." 

Lee Hwanhee has since then moved from SM Entertainment to Worthy Entertainment. It has not been confirmed yet whether she will debut as a solo artist or as part of a group. 

An official from her current agency stated, "She will make her debut late in March and is currently recording some last minute work." 

Meanwhile, in September of last year, Seohyun vocally introduced Lee Hwanhee as her best friend on KBS "Big Brothers" (video cut found below), explaining their struggles to debut, attracting the interest of fans.
