Ha Jiwon looses 4kg working towards perfect military body

Photos of Ha Jiwon posing in her military uniform have recently been published and show off her enviable body. Ha Jiwon is staring as a North Korean special forces drill sergeant called "Kim Hangah" in MBC's new Wednesday/Thursday drama "King 2 Hearts".


On the 29th of February, the photo of Ha Jiwon with long straight hair wearing a deep plum officer's uniform was published. Ha Jiwon plays the role of a slightly inexperienced North Korean officer and looks every bit the the model female soldier as she gives her salute. Since the actress's outstanding body can still be seen through the masculine feel of the uniform, it is attracting a lot of attention.

In order to portray the perfect female soldier, Ha Jiwon did all sorts of weight training and other exercises to increase her stamina. Through the efforts to become more fit, she lost around 4kg.

Last July, while on set for "King 2 Hearts" in Ichon, it has been said that Ha Jiwon's straight as a board posture, salute and dignified militaristic voice created an intense and overwhelming atmosphere in the studio.

Kim Jonghak Productions has stated, "Ha Jiwon's detailed preparation for the part of North Korean officer Kim Hangah can be seen through her mastery of the North Korean dialect and the actions and movements of a military person." and "Even when just looking at Ha Jiwon, she oozes charisma and is making the drama more and more perfect. Please expect great things from Ha Jiwon's portrayal of this dignified and somber officer."

"King 2 Hearts" shows Korea as a constitutional monarchy and through many twists and turns show how North Korean special forces agent Kim Hangah and the foolhardy, arrogant South Korean Prince Lee Jaeha (played by Lee Seunggi) fall in love through a melodramatic black comedy.
