The nation's little sister IU, who has dominated the charts with her second album "Last Fantasy", is planning to release a new song in Korea.
Although she in the midst of preparing for her Japanese debut, IU and her agency are discussing to release a new song and is nearing full completion. Nothing has been decided as of yet if the song will be released as a digital single or if it will serve as a follow-up track to her second album.
Because IU is scheduled to release her first Japanese single "Good Day" in Japan on March 21, she will be focusing on her Japanese activities for the time being and take some time to carefully decide before announcing the release of her new song in Korea.
A representative of IU told OSEN on the 10th, “IU will be focusing on Japanese promotions in March, and it won't be easy to determine when she will be able to begin promotions in Korea.” He added, “What’s for sure is that she plans to release a song to follow her hit “You & I”, we just need to find the right time.”
