Jung Yunho's Japanese fans donated 22 million won to charity

Aside from celebrating his birthday with his fans, Jung Yunho's Japanese fans also pitched in and donated the proceeds for Gwangju's Community Chest in Korea. Members of Jung Yunho's official Japanese fanclub "Jung Yunho Fan Blog Ring One" made a donation and were able to reach 22 million won (at least $19,616).

The fans further requested that the donation will be given to the students coming from low income families that attended Imgok and Kwangil high school, which also happens to be Yunho's alma mater. Part of the proceeds will also go to two orphanages in the same area.

A member of the fanclub also officially stated that, “We wanted to shower the children at welfare institutions with gifts to mark Yunho’s birthday. Last year one of the orphanages we made a donation to also made a donation towards victims of the Japanese earthquake. It was a touching gesture."

This is also not the first time that the fan club was able to achieve such feat as they were also able to manage to raise 10 million won for the same charity last year. The group also previously purchased 2,000 of TVXQ's albums and was given out to the children living in social welfare centres.
