Lee Seunggi confirmed to participate in the 2012 Olympic Torch Relay in London

After news that Lee Seunggi may become one of the torch bearers for the London 2012 Olympics, the Korean actor is now confirmed in the line-up and has released press photos for the event. The announcement was made today by Samsung Electronics, the Games' official sponsor. 

Through a representative, it was also revealed that, "Lee Seunggi is a well-rounded entertainer who is as popular with young people as he is with the elderly. In addition to his being a talented Hallyu star, Seunggi's dedication to humanitarian work impressed us". 

Lee Seunggi is a model for Samsung and has been the face of its refrigerator line for four years. He is set to fly to London on the third week of June to participate in the relay, along with at least 8,000 participants around the world. 

With regards to his selection in the relay, Lee Seunggi expressed that, "I'm stoked to represent Korea as a torch bearer and even more so to become the first Samsung model to do so."
