Lee Seunggi may become a London 2012 Olympic Torch bearer

Singer Lee Seunggi may possibly be a torch bearer for the upcoming London 2012 Olympics. Because Samsung Electronics is one of the official sponsors of the Olympic ceremonies, it has been said that they might be suggesting Lee Seunggi as a runner since he is one of their spokesmodels.

The official sponsors of the Olympic games are allowed to suggest runners to the host country and Samsung Electronics has Lee Seunggi as the model for their newest kimchi refrigerator and therefore, can suggest his inclusion.

Lee Seunggi's company stated on March 14th, "We have received schedule inquiries related with the Olympic Torch and are currently looking into the possibility positively." 

Besides Lee Seunggi, Samsung Electronics has also revealed that they are considering suggesting Han Gain, who has become famous through the drama "The Moon Embraces the Sun" and is also one of their models. Han Gain is currently Samsung's Bubble Shot Washing Machine spokesmodel and her management has stated, "Due to previously contracted scheduling arrangements, participation would be difficult." 

The London Olympics will begin on July 27th.
