JYJ Yoochun's upcoming filming sessions for SBS "Rooftop Prince" have been cancelled after news about his father's passing was reported today. The cancellation has been given to Yoochun as he grieves for the loss of his father.
Yoochun, who joined JYJ in their successful concert tour in South America arrived in South Korea this afternoon. Representatives from the drama production confirmed that filming for the third and fourth episodes that were originally scheduled for March 15 will temporarily be cancelled.
They were then quoted saying, “The situation is rather hectic with the passing of his father. Thus, it has been deemed not possible for the filming scheduled for tomorrow afternoon to go on as planned, and Yoochun’s filming schedules have been cancelled.” It was also revealed that the drama production have enough advance footage for the first broadcast on March 21st.
Closing their statement regarding Yoochun's schedule cancellation, the production team went on to say, “Currently, only the filming schedule for the 15th of March has been confirmed, but I think it is probable that Yoochun will not be able to partake in filming until the day of the funeral mass. Everyone on the production team would like to express our condolences.”
"Rooftop Prince" is set to premiere on March 21st and will have at least 20 episodes.
