Actor So Jiub's promoter, 3HW, has hinted that the actor may return to TV acting after being offered the leading role in SBS's upcoming drama "Ghost." The series, produced by Kim Hyungsik, is set to premiere in May after the conclusion of "Rooftop Prince."
"The producers have explained that So Jisub is a strong candidate for the series although nothing has been finalized," an official from 3HW told 10Asia over the phone on Thursday. If So Jisub does indeed sign on as the leading actor in "Ghost," it will mark his first television role since starring in MBC's series "Road No. 1" in 2010.
Since debuting in 1996, So Jisub has become an international icon through his roles in the 2004 hit series "Something Happened in Bali" and "I'm Sorry, I Love You." His recent filmography includes "Always," with actress Han Hyojoo, as well as "The Salary Man," with actress Lee Miyoun.
