Solo singer Tim will bring the Hallyu Wave with him to Indonesia as he breaks into its television drama market. Tim has recently been chosen for the lead role for the South Korea-Indonesia join drama, "Saranghae, I Love You." Currently, he is filming in Seoul and will soon fly to Indonesia for the local scenes.
On March 19th, Tim's agency said to Star News, "Tim has begun his full-fledged activities in Indonesia. He will be combining his acting promotions alongside his singing career. Once the broadcast has begun in Indonesia, there are plans for Tim to expand his activities in various Asian countries. We ask that [fans] support Tim as not only as a singer, but his growth as an actor as well."
Tim will play the popular top singer, Youngmin, in the drama with a popular Indonesian actress as his co-star. "Saranghae, I Love You" will have a total of 30 episodes with famous director NOTO taking the helm as the producer. The drama will begin airing in July on Indonesia's most popular TV channel at 9PM local time.
