Big Bang’s TOP considering a role in upcoming film "Classmate"

Big Bang’s TOP is currently considering taking on a role in the upcoming movie titled "Classmate." Directed by Park Shinwoo, the film tells the story of a boy whose father who is a North Korean spy is sent to the South. To save his younger sister, the main character become a spy as well and followed his father to the South. TOP's potential role will be of a high school student who takes on the North Korean spies. 

A representative from the film's production commented in a phone interview, "TOP is reviewing the role positively, but the cast has not been fully decided yet and is still being coordinated." The film is expected to start filming in July.

If the role is confirmed, this film will be TOP’s first movie in two years, since filming “71:Into The Fire,” where he portrayed a student soldier. He went on to receive the “Best Rookie Award” for his acting skills in the film.

Meanwhile, Big Bang is currently in the midst of their "Alive" concert tour in Japan, and is set to bring their tour to North America and Europe.
