KARA and After School's posters spotted around Japan's subway stations and department stores

Local fans are continuously talking about the recent boom of Korean pop in Japan, after local subway stations and department stores in the country are currently promoting KARA and After School respectively.

Currently dubbed as one of the most popular Korean girl groups in Japan, KARA's posters have been posted around Japan to promote their newly released full length "Super Girl". In particular, passersby at Tokyo's Ginza Station, a highly popular destination in the country, are currently being greeted with KARA's individual posters. Further noting that the group's bright red outfits grabs the attention of the locals.

KARA's "Super Girl" was released on November 23rd and on the same day, took the top spot in Oricon's Album rankings, as "Super Girl" managed to sell no less than 73,076 copies.

Meanwhile, After School's recent collaboration with Shibuya109 gained all the hype, after a large billboard of the group was mounted on Shibuya109's building in Tokyo, Japan. Due to their sexy and stylish image, After School was selected to promote the mall's Christmas campaign.

On the 27th of November, After School released their second Japanese single "Diva" and held a commemoration event in Japan with their selected number of fans.

Currently, the Japanese continue to express their mixed reactions on the rise of K-pop in the country. However, with a number of Korea's artists slowly infiltrating the local music scene, some are pleased to visually see the effects of the Korean wave.
