Former FT Island member Oh Wonbin will showcase his acting skills in a new sitcom.
FNC Music announced on Friday at a press conference that Wonbin was cast to play the role of Gi Parkho who is an aspiring singer. The sitcom will air on MBN's Maeil Business Newpaper's broadcast network. The sitcom will also star Lee Sookyung, Yoo Inyoung, Cha Hwayeon. The sitcom tells the story of three childhood friends that live together in the same house. This new sitcom will be scheduled for release in the next month.
"I am really nervous and anxious about my acting skills after my first cameo and in the musical 'Three Musketeers' which will open next week," Wonbin stated.
Wonbin was known as a former member of FT Island who debuted 2007 but left two years later because he did not really feel confident in this music style.
