On January 17th, Girls' Generation released their 3rd Korean studio album "The Boys" in both the United States and Europe. The album, distributed by Interscope Records in the United States, was made available in Best Buy stores, iTunes, and Amazon for fans to purchase."The Boys" officially debuted on Billboard's Heatseekers Albums Chart in 22nd place, and fared extremely well on Billboard's World Albums Chart in 2nd place for the week of February 4th.
Girls' Generation will make their way to New York in the next few days and make their debut appearance on "The Late Show with David Letterman" (January 31st) and "Live with Kelly" (February 1st). They are also set to have a fan signing event during that week.
