Girls' Generation member Yuri has been selected to be the new model for cosmetics brand Amore Pacific Mamonde. The new endorsement will also be Yuri's first time to promote a cosmetics brand by herself. 

Various pictures of Yuri acting out a playful refrigerator CF are making the rounds. Yuri recently took on the role of fashion designer “Choi Anna” in the SBS drama “Fashion King”.

"Fashion King" has begun with a good start after making its debut in the small screen last night. According to AGB Nielsen Media Research on the 20th of March, "Fashion King" garnered 10% of the national viewing average. 

Girls’ Generation’s Yuri and actors Lee Jaehoon, Shin Sekyung and Yoo Ah-In attended a press conference for “Fashion King” on March 14th. During the press conference, Yuri gave several comments on her role as Choi Anna and how she feels about acting. Since it’s Yuri’s first time acting in a drama, she had some difficulties. However, she has pulled through with hard work, observing how professionals act in movies and dramas, and also with the help of the PD of “Fashion King”. An official press conference for the upcoming drama "Fashion King" was held on Wednesday afternoon in Korea. At the conference, the extended official preview for the show was played, detailing the premise of the show.

On the 12th of March, SBS released yet another teaser for the highly anticipated drama, “Fashion King”. This short video gives us another small peek at Yuri’s acting and what the drama will be like. Similar to the previous teaser, Yuri only appears briefly, but viewers can already tell how good Yuri’s acting is. A two-year-old video of Girls' Generation's Yuri has been belatedly making the rounds after it was used as basis of her being a disciplinarian. 

A few shots of Girls' Generation's Yuri reading her "Fashion King" script were recently revealed.

On February 27th, a post with attached pictures taken from the making video of SBS ‘Fashion King’ was published on a portal site forum. In the photo, Yuri and Shin SeKyung showcased their glamorous beauty through their strong and bold poses together with the male actors.

A recent video titled "A Surprised Yuri after trying to fix Taeyeon’s Stage Outfit" recently surfaced online. 

SNSD Yuri's debut drama Fashion King will air its first episode on 12th March.

Recently, SM Entertainment confirmed that Girls' Generation member Yuri will be leaving the music show MBC "Show! Music Core" to focus on other activities such as acting. On the 28th of January, Yuri filmed her last episode for the show and left a goodbye message to her supporters. 

Before introducing the show's final act, Tiffany expressed the sad news as she announced Yuri's last day on the show. Further revealing that Yuri decided to leave the slot as she will be busy with drama activities. Yuri, on the other hand, started tearing up when she mentioned that it was sad to leave the show that she had grown attached to. She also asked their fans to support them until the end, and in whichever project they participate. 

By the end of the speech, Tiffany assured Yuri to comeback when she's free and asked the viewers to look forward on Yuri's upcoming activities as an actress. 

Meanwhile, fans also supported Yuri's last show in the program as the tag "Mc YulTi Forever" made it to the fifth spot on Twitter's Worldwide trending topics. Proving the many supporters showing their love for the duo. 

Tiffany and Yuri had been hosting the show since April 2009, but had to temporarily leave their slot last July 2010 to pave way to their Japanese activities. Both of the members eventually returned to the show on October 15, 2011. 

Despite Yuri's resignation, Tiffany will stay on the show and continue her role as the MC.

An SM Entertainment representative has revealed on the 27th that Girls’ Generation’s Kwon Yuri will be resigning from her MC position on MBC’s “Show! Music Core”.

Alongside fellow member Tiffany, both members had been hosting the music show from April 2009 until July 2010, but had to temporarily leave their position due to the group’s Japanese promotions. However, they took over their MC positions once again on October 15th of last year. Yuri, whose last show has been revealed to be on the 28th, will be taking the opportunity to focus on other activities such as acting. Tiffany, on the other hand, will be maintaining her MC position and will continue to host Music Core.

Meanwhile, fans are excited to see Yuri’s appearance in “Fashion King”, SBS’s upcoming drama, which will revolve around the lives of both rookie and world-class fashion designers.
