SM Entertainment will take legal action towards the person who posted edited naked photos of Girls' Generation online. The agency announced the move today after photos of a certain girl group were released on an adult website.
Through a representative, SM Entertainment confirmed that, “We will take all steps necessary to right this wrong. The person should not just be held responsible for creating the phony picture but also for uploading it and spreading it online.”
The incident happened on February 15th after a nude photo of the group circulated online. It was further proven that the perpetrator used Girls' Generation's faces and edited them onto other naked female bodies.
Two years ago, Girls' Generation was also involved in a similar issue after their faces were pasted onto other model's bodies. However, the case was dropped after the police discovered that the suspect was a teenager.
