Girls' Generation appointed honorary ambassadors of Gangnam district

The members of Girls' Generation were appointed as honorary public relations ambassadors for the district of Gangnam, which is home to locations such as Teheranno and the World Trade Center Seoul. On behalf of the entire group, members Seohyun, Jessica, Tiffany, and Sooyoung attended the appointment ceremony.

"We expect people around the world to recognize Gangnam as an attractive and charming place through Girls' Generation's image," stated Gangnam's public relations director Jang Wonseok.

District officials hope to promote tourism in Gangnam through Girls Generation's global reach and charming image, and many posters will be furnished around tourist hotspots, subway stations, and at Incheon International Airport.
