KARA releases first fragrance, KARA 5 JEWEL

Girl group KARA has launched their first perfume, KARA 5 JEWEL or K5J. They are the first Korean girl group to launch a fragrance line, and they have released a special site for the product, www.kara5jewel.com. 

According to the site, KARA began planning the fragrance in summer 2011, when they met with French perfume designers in Paris. The group chose the name for their perfume themselves, since it is a "special jewel" that they created together. They also hope that the perfume will strengthen the relationship between KARA and their fans. 

K5J can be pre-ordered for 70 USD, and is described as being "fruity, floral, and woody". International orders will ship on May 15th, 2012.
