Girls' Generation was one of the celebrities who attended the 2011 Mnet Asian Music Awards on November 29th in Singapore.

During the pre-event press conference, they were asked where they see themselves in five years time. Tiffany answered, "It's different for each member, each of us are doing separate activities. We look forward to trying something new given the chance, but no matter what, we will still be together as a group five years from now. We're not going anywhere."

Meanwhile, noting that they have released English versions of several songs to date, a reporter asked if they planned on releasing yet more. The answer to this was, "Yes, we are looking forward to that." 

Lastly, a male reporter complimented them on their beauty, saying that they look impeccable all the time. Hes asked how long it took for them to look that good. The answer? An astounding three and a half hours on average, or longer depending on the length of the song or scale of the performance.

Super Junior participated in this year's Mnet Asian Music Awards, where they answered several interview questions before the event kicked off.

The session started off with in a tongue-in-cheek manner, when a reporter asked if they were mobbed while having lunch at a Korean restaurant in Singapore the day before.

Member Eunhyuk cheekily explained that he had, along with groupmates Sungmin and Siwon, gone to a Korean restaurant for lunch because they needed something substantial to give them the energy for their upcoming performances.

Super Junior was also asked for their opinion on the secret behind the Hallyu Wave's success, a remarkable phenomenon that has fans learning a new language just to understand Korean song lyrics.

Leeteuk answered, "We're very thankful for all the support given to us despite the cultural differences. It's not easy to pick up a foreign language, so we really appreciate all that effort."

Earlier today, the 2011 MAMA's launched in Singapore with performances by some of the hottest stars in Korea. Koreaboo partnered up with Mnet America to present the live streaming and tweeting of the show. However, many fans were left disappointed as they couldn't catch the early show.

Singer Wei Chen from China, who became well-known through a televised singing competition not unlike "Superstar K," was one of the celebrities invited to the 2011 Mnet Asian Music Awards which took place on November 29th.

At the pre-event press conference, he expressed his gratitude and happiness for this opportunity to perform in front of a global audience.

One of the questions that was thrown to him asked if he would like to collaborate with any Korean artist. He replied, "My new CD was recorded in Korea with CJ E&M. I worked together with MBLAQ for this project, and in the future if the chance arises, I would love to work with other Korean artists as well."

Additionally, given the similarity of "Super Boy" -- the program that shot him to stardom -- to "Superstar K", he was asked if he had heard of the latter. Wei Chen explained that he had watched it while training in Korea and thought of it as a good platform for people who want to showcase their love for music.

Singer-actor Kim Hyunjoong was one of the many stars to attend the pre-event press conference on November 29th, ahead of the evening's live broadcast of the 2011 Mnet Asian Music Awards.

He gave a short self-introduction, then stated as a follow-up, "It feels good to be here. I'm both nervous and excited, but will definitely give a good performance today. The set-up of the stage looks incredible."

Widely acknowledged as one of the players leading the Hallyu Wave, he was asked to give a message to his global fans. Kim Hyunjoong said, "Thank you to all those who supported me. I had originally planned a world tour for April 2012, but due to the filming of a drama series then, it has been postponed to the end of the year. Nonetheless I will continue to put on great performances in between."

He refused to elaborate on the above mentioned drama project, saying that he is not allowed to talk about it just yet.

The next question put forth asked what he thought of his chances of bringing home the awards in the categories he has been nominated in. Quite modestly, he answered, "I think it will be difficult. Just one would already be good, I don't want to think about getting two. I will definitely work harder to ensure I can win more next time."

When asked to name the one award he would really like to win, however, he stated, "I don't know what categories I'm nominated for, but I would really like the 'Best Male Solo Artist' award."

He continued, "I think I'm still lacking as a solo artist, but I will work harder in future to overcome that. It's more demanding, both mentally and physically, to be active as a solo artist instead of promoting in a group."

Whilst on that tangent, a reporter remarked that Kim Hyunjoong seemed perfect in every aspect. Kim Hyunjoong answered, "I don't think I deserve the label 'perfect' yet. I wish to become a better singer and actor."

Finally, the interview session took an upbeat turn as a German reporter asked for his opinion on German girls. Kim Hyunjoong replied, smiling half in awkwardness and half in jest, "I have not met any German people before, but based on what I see on television, I have the impression that they have beer during lunch. I always think of delicious beer and sausages when I think of Germany."

Ulala Session, the winner of the third season of "Superstar K," is a four-member group that garnered much attention from the onset, due to their multifaceted talents in dancing and singing.

On November 29th, at the press conference held before the 2011 Mnet Asian Music Awards, they conveyed that they were still in shock at having been given the chance to perform in front of such a large audience, but were nevertheless sure that it would be a good memory at the end of the day.

Lim Yoontaek, the leader of ULALA Session, has been diagnosed with cancer. When asked how he took care of his health, he answered, "We practiced a lot to make sure that nothing would go wrong and that we would be able to show a perfect performance. We hope you enjoy the songs."

Following this, they were asked how they felt as winners of "Superstar K3", now performing in front of an astounding 1.9 billion viewers at the MAMAs. They said, "We're honored to represent 'Superstar K3,' though we do feel the weight on our shoulders."

In a reference to Wei Chan of "Super Boy" fame, Ulala Session was asked if they knew him, to which they said, "We're honored to be able to meet him personally. We have heard of him and are familiar with him through his acting and his stage performances. We look forward to seeing him."

They added in an answer to another question regarding their emotional state as they stated, "We will just do our best while being prudent, just as we did our best on 'Superstar K.' Our performance tonight will be on behalf of our friends in Korea, and will be full of love and hope. It will be just as fun and exciting as every show we put on in Korea; the only difference is in the size of the stage. We hope that after tonight, no one will think of us as mere audition singers, but as legit artists. Lastly, we love Snoop Dogg!"

miss A participated in the pre-MAMAs press conference on November 29th in Singapore. During the interview, miss A member Min revealed that she had sprained her neck while practicing for their act. Notwithstanding, she continued on in hopes of being able to put on a perfect show for all the viewers tuning in.

Meanwhile, miss A also conveyed their thoughts on this year's Mnet Asian Music Awards show -- they are both glad and honored to be able to participate in it.

A reporter from Vietnam asked if the group was planning to visit her country any time soon, and if the other members are intending to go into acting after seeing maknae Suzy try her hand at it.

Unfortunately, they have no concrete plans to tour Vietnam as of yet. As promotion for their songs increase, they do hope to eventually embark on a world tour -- so fret not, Vietnamese fans!

Min went on to volunteer the fact that groupmate Fei is highly interested in acting, saying, "Hopefully she'll do a Chinese action movie soon."

Lastly, miss A revealed that they might release and promote a new album in China next year, as they did this year in Beijing and Shanghai.

Dynamic Duo and Simon D came together for a short interview session before the 2011 Mnet Asian Music Awards which was held on November 29th.

After introducing themselves, Dynamic Duo said, "It is an honor for us to meet our global fans through the MAMAs. We also prepared a special stage for today. We're nervous and excited to be performing alongside artists we have liked since we were young. That said, it's an honor for us and we hope to create a lot of good memories."

Simon D added, "I'm excited to be here amongst the best artists and best set-up. It feels good to be here."

The interview kicked off with the question, "How does it feel to be standing on stage for such a large-scale, global event like the MAMAs?"

Dynamic Duo answered, "We're happy to see all the media representatives gathered here today, as it shows that Korean culture and the interest in it has really gone world-wide."

They added, "We're extremely proud to be a part of this, and we hope that the MAMAs can go even further to even more countries."

Simon D said, "I hope Korean music can go even further. It's amazing to me that the awards show has come to Singapore."

When asked to describe their performances for the night, Dynamic Duo said, "The stage will catch fire. We're collaborating with the best rock group and violinist in Korea. Please look forward to it."

Simon D concluded succinctly, "It's a gathering of diverse artists. After all the theme for this year's MAMAs is 'Music Makes ONE'."

At 12PM KST on November 29th, the 2011 Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA) started off the day with a press conference and welcome meeting prior to the official red carpet event. Artist such as Wei Chen, Simon D, Dynamic Duo, miss A, Girls' Generation, Super Junior, 2NE1, and more participated.

During the welcome meeting, Wei Chen stated that his performance at the 2011 MAMA had a lot of Chinese elements in it and to look forward to his performance, having practiced a lot for tonight's show.

Dynamic Duo exclaimed that their stage tonight will "catch on fire tonight" as they will be performing with one of the best Korean rock band and violinist. Meanwhile, Mnet Superstar K3 winnersUlala Session will also be performing tonight and they have stated how honor they are to be present at the MAMA as Superstar K representatives.

It was also revealed at the welcome meeting that miss A's Min had injured her neck tonight and sprained it during her rehearsal practices for MAMA, however, she still hopes to give a good performance later tonight.

Chinese representative Lang Lang is also set to perform a join stage with BEAST with their song "Fiction." Japan's representative and top star Koda Kumi is also set to perform tonight. She reveals at the welcome meeting that she still keeps in touch with 2NE1's Minzy as well as TVXQ. Koda Kumi stated that she can't wait to greet her audience tonight and proclaims her love for the Korean culture.

Kim Hyunjoong said that he wasn't aware of what awards he is nominated for but hopes to win Best Male Solo Artist. When asked about German girls, Kim Hyunjoong answered that he has not met any German people, but does enjoy German beer and sausage.

Girls' Generation recently released their 1st English song and stated at the meeting that they are planning to record other English songs in the future. Meanwhile, 2NE1 has kept their performance tonight a secret, making everyone's anticipation go high.

Super Junior shows off their language prowess and greeted everyone in 4 different languages and stated that they have kept all of their awards at their agency's headquarters!

Lee Byunghun started off the festivities at the 2011 MAMA and explained this year's theme of "Music Makes One." Tonight's 2011 MAMA was attended by some of the hottest and popular Korean artists, as well as Japan's top artist Koda Kumi, China's Wei Chen and Jang Zhang, Aziatix, and more!

The 2011 MAMA took place this year at the Singapore Indoor Stadium at 7PM KST after the 2-hour red carpet event that took place beforehand. Voting for the award show began in Octoberand end last week, giving fans the chance to vote for their favorite bias.
