Girl group Rainbow has officially released their debut Japanese album, titled "Over The Rainbow." Since the start of their Japanese promotions late last year, Rainbow has released three singles -- "A," "Mach," and most recently, "Gonna Gonna GO!" The girls have been actively promoting on various music shows and special live concerts in order to break into the Japanese market.

Recently, DSP Media's girl group, Rainbow, released their 3rd Japanese single, "Gonna Gonna GO!". In addition to promoting their latest single, Rainbow is set to release their 1st Japanese album, "Over The Rainbow." 

After entering Oricon for their 3rd Japanese single "Gonna Gonna" the girls are kicking off promotions for now and have several fan events planned starting with Tokyo on March 17th.

On the 4th of February at the Serura Stadium, the World Music Festival in Okinawa will be held. Part 1 will consist of the Oh Jun Sung drama concert and part 2 will be Kpop special Live 2012 concert. Part 1 will consist of OST songs from some of Oh Jun Sung's popular dramas; such as Boys Before Flowers, Prosecutor Princess, City Hunter, etc. Part 2 will have performances from KARA, 2PM, Infinite, Secret, ZE:A, Rainbow, etc.

Girl group Rainbow will soon be releasing their 1st Japanese studio album titled "Over The Rainbow." Rainbow is also set to release their 3rd Japanese single, "Gonna Gonna GO!", to which they have already released a short version of its title music video a few days ago.

Debuting as Rainbow's first sub-group, Rainbow Pixie released their debut track, "Hoi Hoi," on January 11th. The members, Hyunyoung, Jisook, and Seungah, performed "Hoi Hoi" on the music shows for over a month. However, due to Rainbow's comeback that is scheduled for March, it was announced that Rainbow Pixie would be ending their promotions of "Hoi Hoi."

Rainbow Pixie performed their goodbye stage of "Hoi Hoi" on last night's episode of Music Core. Tonight, Rainbow Pixie performed their last goodbye stage of "Hoi Hoi" on Inkigayo.

Just a few days ago, a teaser image was released for DSP Media's female group Rainbow's first sub-unit called Rainbow Pixie. The members of Rainbow Pixie have been revealed to be Oh Seungah, Kim Jisook, and Cho Hyunyoung.

The first image teaser revealing the group's members is of Seungah, Jisook, and Hyunyoung peaking through the red curtains that they had been hiding behind previously, with colorful hair accessories on the top of their heads.

Until January 12th, various jacket photos of the trio will be released, in addition to the music video teaser on the 12th. 

Rainbow Pixie will make their official debut as a sub-unit on MBC Music Core with "Hoi Hoi" on January 14th. They will portray a more cute outlook then that of previous Rainbow activities and concepts.

After having already revealed the amount of Kpop releases in Japan for December 7th last week, the charts were put together earlier today and it seems that Super Junior took the top spot for Kpop releases in today's singles chart. Super Junior's "Mr. Simple" sold 17,185 copies on its first day, getting to the 3rd spot in the rankings. The Boss's newest single, "Love Days" snatched away the 7th spot just above Rainbow's second Japanese single "Mach" and SHU-I's "Nebagiba Yeah!". On the 16th spot we have "Ready Go", 4minute's newest single.

On the weekly single chart, TVXQ grabbed the second spot after popular boy group KAT-TUN, with the release of "Winter ~Winter Rose/Duet~". The single sold 129,525 copies in total. FT Islandtook the 4th place with 39,120 copies of "Distance" sold since its release day last week. T-ara, who released their second Japanese single last week, sold 31,801 copies which made them get to the 7th place in this week's Oricon Single Charts. JYP Nation's Christmas single was sold 3,558 times, leaving them at the 34th spot.

SHINee released their first full length Japanese album today and the release sold about 38,922 copies on its first day. "THE FIRST" managed to get to the 3rd place on the daily album rankings.

For the second week in a row, KARA gets into the top 3 of the Oricon weekly album sales with their latest release "Super Girl". Though they sold enough for a top spot last week, KARA kept onto the 2nd place with another 96,072 copies for their second week sales. 2PM's "REPUBLIC OF 2PM" sold 50,265 copies and snatched away the 4th spot on this week's album rankings.

BoA's latest single "Milestone", was released as a DVD Single and is therefor included in the music DVD rankings. It got to a 4th place on the day of its release. MBLAQ's "MONA LISA STYLE" charted at the 8th spot of the same list.

After successfully making their debut in Japan with their first single "A," Rainbow will continue their advancement by releasing another of their Korean hit, "Mach." On December 7th, Rainbow will release the Japanese version of "Mach," which also includes the B-side track "Not Your Girl."

"Not Your Girl" is a song originally found on their debut mini-album "Gossip Girl" released in 2009. "Mach" was released in 2010 as a digital single and released on a physical CD as part of their mini-album "SO 女" in 2011.

Three editions will be available for fans to purchase, all including different covers and content.
